Dixie was born in Germany and currently resides in Huntsville, Alabama. A mother of three and grandmother of three, she has proudly served her local church as a Sunday School teacher for over thirty years. It was through her love for children and storytelling that she created her first novel; the engrossing, heartwarming tale, The Life and Times of Bob Cratchit, A Background Story to Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol.

Dixie proudly announces her second novel; the action thriller, Tabor - The First Christian. The historical accuracy and thrilling adventure of her story will leave you breathless as you develop an appreciation for how difficult life was for those who stood true to their faith in the land where Jesus walked.

Now, Dixie has released Mary's Song, a sequel to The Life and Times of Bob Cratchit as well as a sequel to Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. In A Christmas Carol, we enjoyed the transformation by which Christmas saved Ebenezer Scrooge. In Mary's Song, Scrooge is called on to return the gift by saving Christmas.

May angels watch me as I rest,
For by Your love I will be blessed.

And now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
